The Baugh Group is excited to host a unique gravel cycling event “Tour De La Gonâve” in memory of Pastor Matt Baugh.

This unique event combines the growth of gravel cycling with our desire to make a difference in the lives of people in La Gonâve. By coming together to ride for a cause, we’ve partnered with Arkansas based 501c3 non-profit charity, Hope For La Gonâve to carry out this annual community cycling and outreach event to help contribute support of vital education and community initiatives HFL has been carrying out on the island of La Gonâve the past 17 years.

This isn't just about a bike ride; it's about empowering young minds, fostering growth, and creating opportunities for a brighter future. Join us for a day filled with adventure, community spirit, and the chance to make a lasting impact.

At the heart of The Baugh Group is a deeper purpose that extends far beyond our business efforts. Our work is founded on the legacy of Ben’s brother, Matt Baugh. Matt was a missionary in Haiti who had dedicated his life as a missionary evangelist on the island of La Gonâve, Haiti.

Tragically, Matt’s life was cut short by a motorcycle accident in 2006 in the Haitian capital of Port au Prince. However, his heart for the island’s children lives on through Hope For Lagonâve.

Hope for LaGonâve is a non-profit charity founded by the Baugh family in 2007 with a mission to nourish the minds, bodies, and souls of the Haitian people and empower them with the tools to change the trajectory of an entire nation.

Today, Hope for La Gonâve operates four schools, supports more than 500 students, employs 68 local staff, and we are excited to support their efforts in this exciting way.
